His career is rooted in hands-on experience both on the water and within high-end service environments, enabling him to understand the expectations of discerning yacht owners and charter guests at the highest level.
Before joining SeaNet, Pieter spent over five years with Wajer Yachts, progressing from student trainee to Captain in Saint-Tropez, where he mastered safe navigation, yacht handling, maintenance oversight, and the delivery of exceptional onboard service. His daily interactions with UHNW clientele strengthened his ability to anticipate needs, tailor experiences, and communicate with clarity and discretion, skills that now define his approach at SeaNet.
Alongside his yachting expertise, Pieter worked part-time as a Private Driver for Get Driven in Belgium, a role that sharpened his social skills, adaptability, and understanding of premium lifestyle service standards.
His commitment to professional development also includes internships with Heesen Yachts, Usafe Benelux, and De Valk Yacht Brokers, where he gained valuable exposure to procurement processes, sales, yacht brokerage operations, and industry event representation.
Today, Pieter combines his operational knowledge, polished hospitality instincts, and passion for client care to elevate owner and guest experiences across SeaNet’s fleet.
